Another of my warzone set ups. It can be hard to find a villain who can stand up against the Avengers big guns.

Taking Down HYDRA

I still haven't rebuilt that one Mega Bloks building I have, so it's fun to set up little war zones.

Carnage

Carnage is an incredible minimate. He came in the Deadly Foes of Spider-man box set from Luke's Toy Store and you should definitely buy that if you haven't yet. I missed out on Carnage the first time around because I got the Toys R Us boxset instead. We had to wait 10 years for another Carnage, but with all of the tampos, accessories and sculpted parts, this mate is perfect.

Ninja Fighting

You guys must be studying the abridged book of ninja fighting...

The old Ninja Turtles movies are extremely quotable. Or maybe I'm just a huge nerd. Probably both.

TMNT Wave 1

I took this way back when we only had one wave of TMNT minimates. They instantly became some of my favorite mates. I still love the Marvel ones, but I've been hoping for Ninja Turtles all along. I'm really happy with how they all look and was really surprised at how great Shredder and the Foot were. I think the TMNT mates keep getting better and wave 2 is one of my favorites of all time.

Krang's Rampage

Just picked this Mega Blok Krang over the weekend. It fits in pretty nicely with the TMNT minimates! The minimate kraang are even pretty close in size to Krang.

TMNT Villains

I can't tell you how excited I am about Bebop and Rocksteady finally becoming minimates. I've always loved these two goons and these mates are some of my new favorites. We got Shredder back in wave 1 and this update is a welcome addition. I was honestly thinking about buying a spare Shred-head and cutting his cape off so this turned out pretty perfect.

Just for fun, I wanted to see how easily I could change them into their classic designs. These are pretty close for just tossing things together without repainting anything.

Pain 101

I have always hoped that we would get TMNT minimates and they are even better than I hoped. Casey is one of my new favorites. There are so many great details of his Nickelodeon design captured here in minimate form -- down to the random spray paint on his clothes. He also comes with a ton of accessories which is always great.

Blob doesn't share food

Hiding Places

Venom is such a creep. I've had a lot of fun looking around the neighborhood when I walk my dog, trying to find places for minimate photos.... Is that weird?

Avalanche

One of my Mega Blok buildings fell apart, but before putting it back together I thought it would make the perfect setting for a fight with Avalanche.

Happy New Year
